Which Batteries Are Safe for Electric Scooters?

In most cases, electric scooters are powered by one of three different batteries. Each variant has its own cost and expected lifespan, which is measured in charge cycles. 

1. Lithium-ion batteries

In terms of cost, lithium-ion batteries are the most expensive of the three kinds of battery, but they also have the longest life span. A lithium-ion battery has a life of up to 1,200 charge cycles.

2. Sealed lead-acid batteries
